Early Music Network is formed in August 1998 and our intention is to become primary early music informative agency in the world. We intend to gather together early music organizations, ensembles, artists, magazines, educational institutions which offer education in historical performance and other related topics together, so that everyone interested in early music could find most of their desired things on one place.

We think this is necessary for EM community, as now there are not so many organizations for early music around, and then there are independent. There is no connection among them and we hope this will help us all.

ANSWER: Our free web hosting offer is designed for early music ensembles, organizations and individuals who are looking for web presence. We will provide basic web design for your site, or you can prepare the page by yourself. We will then place your web site online under the name of your choice, such as www.earlymusic.net/yourname or www.earlymusic.net/ensemble (organizational members can have subdomain-based-website, such as ensemble.earlymusic.net or yourname.earlymusic.net). If you would like to register a new, or transfer your existing domain name (such as www.yourname.com), we can help you to park your domain for free (through our parner) and to arrange the automatic forwarding service which would automatically bring all your visitors to your address at earlymusic.net (automatic forwarding service costs around $35 per year, depending on the company that you are using. EMN cannot provide this service, however we may help you to buy it). The hosting service by EMN is FREE, and we only like to place our link or another banner at your site. However, although the site is completely yours and you can update is whenever you like, we do not offer login services at this time. You can send the updated information for your web site, or updated HTML file, and we will place it on line quickly.
