Christmas Baroque Pops

Early Music Saint Louis presents an incomparable period instrument
performance of the best loved "baroque hits":

  • Vivaldi's "Winter" Concerto from The Four Seasons,
  • Pachelbel's "Canon"
  • Handel's "Arrival of the Queen of Sheeba"
  • Bach's "Sheep May Safely Graze"
  • Corelli's "Christmas Concerto"
  • and the St. Louis premiere of the Christmas Cantata "Ad Gaudia, Ad Iubila" by the woman composer Xaviera Peruchona

EMSL's annual presentation of H.I.F. von Biber's sonatas dealing with the events of Christ's passion, crucifixion and resurrection.
